Gehenna | What's to tell?
I'm here, I've lived a lot, I read tarot.
I
like the cold, dark, stormy days everyone else hates. Women years
younger than me call me "chick" and "bab" even though I'm in my
thirties. I collect big stompy boots and I don't watch TV. I never cut
my hair; I like the wild look. I have a degree in physics and am a
Reiki Master -- so science and spirituality DO mix. I take my cues from
Khaos, who isn't the anarchist that most people believe her to be... or
is it that they just don't understand "anarchy"? ;)
I have an
uncanny ability to use the tarot to give people answers to their
burning questions, and it's often been said that people leave my parlour
feeling a little more guided and a lot less confused. Im incredibly
empathic, and very sensitive to various energies, and I like to use my
skills and insight to help people make more sense of their world. I've
possessed psychic abilities since I was a very young girl. Being hit by
lightning aged five could be something to do with that, but it
sure sounds spooky!
My specialising in quantum
physics, if anything, has cemented my belief in metaphysical
phenomena.. but I could wax lyrical for pages and my fingers would get
tired of typing long before my mind ran out of stuff to say.
I'm
a mom in my spare time, and my hobbies include clearing up after small
people, getting up very early and trying to get three of us 800 yards
up the road at the same time evey weekday. I like to relax by falling
asleep on the sofa. I cook disgustingly sinful brownies and I'll show
my love by both heckling and feeding you.

Palehorse | Since
early childhood, Jon has been a seeker, driven by the underlying
suspicion that there is more to life, religion and spirituality, and
reality itself, than meets the eye. As is often the case however, his
senses, abilities and the endless bombardment of questions with which
he tormented his poor family were not very well received during those
early years, and so most of it was eventually shut down and forgotten.
Jon’s entry into the online world in his later teenage years
kick-started his spiritual journey and initiated his ongoing study and
experimentation with alternative spirituality, theology, metaphysics
and personal development. Having gradually learned by this time that
his way of thinking and operating is often considered highly unorthodox
by most standards (usually by managing to get himself in some sort of
trouble); in this case it came to be a powerful asset.
Particularly
intrigued by the idea that our experience of the world is determined by
our internal makeup, that it’s possible to create our reality by
redefining our identity within it, Jon began looking for ways to prove
or disprove it to his own satisfaction via direct personal experience.
Simultaneously combining the perspectives of mad scientist and mystic, Jon began applying his unique talents for analyzing everything half to death twice over
considering a concept from multiple perspectives, taking an idea to all
of its logical conclusions, and combining acquired knowledge in
creative ways. Upon finding answers to his original questions that he
was satisfied with, he soon realized he had raised twice as many new
ones in their place. Ever since, he has devoted much of his time to
study, regular practice and experimentation with various metaphysical
concepts and personal development; his goal being to find out as much
as he can about the nature of this thing we call “reality” and what
it’s capable of, while having a blast along the way. Life since then
has been quite the crazy rollercoaster ride that shows no signs of
slowing down, and Jon has discovered and invented many highly effective
tools and insights along the way that he now plans on sharing freely
through Beyond Within. He hopes to inspire as well as provide visitors
with practical information, challenge beliefs and demolish assumptions,
all with his typical style of delightfully irreverent humor.
Born
in southern California, Jon’s epic journey has led him to
counter-colonize the UK. He now lives near Birmingham with Tab. Jon is
a Reiki Master and holds a BA in religion. His non-metaphysical hobbies
and interests include art, live music, corrupting the British with
stereotypical soCal surf-speak for kicks, and crossing out excessive
u’s wherever they’re found.
