August ends with surprises and trouble, generating feelings of wonder and fear ..morbid fascination ..like watching a car crash in slow motion, knowing what will happen yet unable to tear your eyes away. This is an overwhelming time, when even the most self-assured of us will feel utterly powerless. Even so, energies of elemental Fire galvanise us to action.
Negative influences come in the form of material trouble, at its worst seeing many finding themselves losing everything bar the clothes on their backs. Those who can get by with just a little economising can count their blessings. Everyone will have some degree of sacrifice to make over this next few weeks. If anything positive can be found in this, it is that shared hardships will strengthen bonds of love and friendship.
The feeling of futility that the latter half of august brings will bring out passive-agressive tendencies in a lot of people. On a wider scale, expect the media to carry stories of failure, and detailed and sometimes gory speculation.. fear-mongering at it's best. This news coverage leads to an atmosphere of frenzy, with people letting intellect and reason fly out of the window in their search for a scapegoat. Don't be one of them!
